I’m Megan, the founder of Louise & Third — part designer, part problem-solver, and always the person making sure every last detail is exactly where it should be. On a wedding day you'll find me fine-tuning your chair placement or handing out tissues and mints to the wedding party right before the ceremony processional.
I've always had an instinct for thoughtful, design-driven details. My early career in the fashion and entertainment taught me how to see the world through a creative lens and bring ideas to life with precision and purpose.
My approach blends elevated design with a calm, grounded presence. I notice the nuances others might miss and I’m not afraid to speak up when something needs tweaking — but I also believe the planning journey should feel just as meaningful as the day itself.
More than a decade into running Louise & Third, I'm still energized by the magic of bringing people together and by the privilege of creating beautiful celebrations for my clients.
When I'm not busy planning, you can find me in "mom mode" chasing after my two sweet (but wild) boys, listening to Taylor Swift's newest album, and immersing myself in home improvement projects.
I'm also passionate about travel, the environment, fashion, and basic human rights.
It is my grandmother, Martha Louise, who is the namesake of Louise & Third. It's a middle name that was passed down then to my mother, Susan Louise, and now to myself, Megan Louise.
It’s an honor to be a part of a family tradition by being the third Louise so I've chosen to dedicate the name of my company after such strong women and role models in my life.

“Megan was professional, poised, quick on her feet, and creative. What was of even greater importance was hearing positive comments about her from guests after the event.”
