I grew up in Maryland and have always been drawn to beautiful things — fashion, design, and the way thoughtful details can tell a story. My early career in the fashion and entertainment industries taught me how to see the world through a creative lens and bring ideas to life with precision and purpose.
Eventually, I realized that my favorite stories weren’t being told on set — they were happening in real life, surrounded by love and celebration. That discovery led me to weddings, where I could blend my background in design and production with my passion for creating meaningful experiences.
Fourteen years later, and after more than a decade running Louise & Third, I still feel endlessly inspired by the art of bringing people together — and by the privilege of creating moments that feel as beautiful as they do intentional.

It is my grandmother, Martha Louise, who is the namesake of Louise & Third. It's a middle name that was passed down then to my mother, Susan Louise, and now to myself, Megan Louise.
It’s an honor to be a part of a family tradition by being the third Louise so I've chosen to dedicate the name of my company after such strong women and role models in my life.
